The Cogitare Foundation (Foundation) is committed to the improvement of people's lives in Africa.

To this end, the Foundation funds programs that directly develop African communities, whether through building houses, providing educational opportunities, improving health care, or any other creative approach to the problems faced by the poor.

Please explore this web site for more information about our work and our philosophy.  Here you can find specific program descriptions and a general conceptual guide.  To find out more about specific Cogitare projects, click on the News button to the left.  Our News page offers links to our newsletters, where you will find discussions about the ongoing work of the Foundation.  Please feel free to contact us with questions and comments.
